Parks and Picnic Areas

McMullen Park & Beach
McMullen Park and Beach are located on McMullen Street behind McMullen Manor. From Main St. (Road 38) turn east onto Carleton Street. Then turn right onto McMullen and follow it until you see the sign for the beach. The township offers swim lessons and day camp in July and August. Verona Lions Mini Park
Located 0.5 km. west on Verona Sand Road, a popular children's playground with swings, slides and climbers. Owned and maintained by the Verona Lions Club.

Napanee Region Conservation Area on Hambley (Silver) Lake
Located just south of Verona on the east side of Road 38. Offers picnic tables and toilet facilities.

Boat Launches and Water Access
Boat Launch at the foot of Salmon Drive. Turn east off Road 38 onto Carleton St. and follow it straight to the water (Carleton St. becomes Salmon Drive.) There is convenient trailer parking very near the water.

Another launch at the foot of Water Street (east off Road 38). Very limited on street parking.

Sports Facilities

Tennis Court & Shuffleboard
Located on the south side of McMullen Manor next to the cemetery.

Ball Diamond
The Ball Diamond is owned and maintained by the Verona Lions Club. Located on Lions Club grounds a short distance up Verona Sand Road, west off Road 38.

Skating and Hockey
North Frontenac Community Arena is located less than five minutes north of Verona in Piccadilly, off Road 38, on Arena Boundary Road.

Frontenac Girl's Hockey Association (Frontenac Fury)
Frontenac Fury The Frontenac Girl's Hockey Association - Frontenac Fury provides girls the opportunity to play hockey with other girls from within their community, and the communities of Stone Mills, Gananoque, Napanee and Kingston.

Our home games are played at the North Frontenac Community Arena. We have Atom, Pee Wee, Bantam, and Midget teams, providing hockey for girls age 10 to 17.
